Halftrack time

Hiya folks,

I've started working on Trumpeter's M-16 halftrack a couple weeks ago, this is actually an M-16A2 ver. due to the rear door added, Thank you Ken for pointing this out to me. Much appreciated. Which took place sometimes between later part of 1944 to mid 1945... they were widley seen during the 50's during the Korean war. This kit though will be modeld after a unit that saw action in late to mid 44/45. I'll get into the specifics of the unit later on prior to the completed build. So here we have the box art and let Me tell ya the box is huge.. I orderd the kit from http://www.spruebrothers.com/ great place to pick up all you hobby needs and they run daily specials and have a huge selection for the hobbiest
Next up photo wise is the parts lay out.. alot of plastic and some rubber added 1 photo etch fret is included as well as some rope and chain along with the decals. Each of the bags holds two sprues of plastic, the tire and track sections drive sprocket and return roller are boxed up all nice an tight which I laid out for the photo. The frame is made of two cast metal sections pretty sturdy stuff
